Curb Appeal
First, look at the outside of your home, better known as your curb appeal. Examine the exterior of your house from a quick glance from the street. What do you notice first? What awesome features seem to fade into the background?
Understanding this assists us in deciding what measures we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with retouched paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers see themselves enjoying game night in your living space, reading a good book in your master bedroom or studying in your home office? We want your Open House to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of contentment. I'll help you accomplish this by suggesting small improvements that enhance your house's features.
I'll advise you get rid of anything that gives the impression of clutter. Counter tops should be cleared off. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' drawings should get stored away too. We'll de-clutter your house. Unattractive or messy places make your home seem less spacious and buyers have a more difficult time picturing themselves calling your place home.
Every room gets a once-over. Improvements that directly affect your dollars include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should get removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need replacing, and windows that need washing
With me by your side, you'll know that your home is appealing and that it's inviting, steering clear of "loud" or "personalized" colors on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can try temporary furnishings. The goal is for your house to look lived in as opposed to barren.

Setting the Stage
At every showing, we want to capture buyers' attention. Lighting is a mood changer and we'll draw back curtains, and add lighting where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and assure a nice aroma circulates from every room. We'll make use of cozy-looking throws, and pillows on your loveseat and bed. Buyers should feel like your current place is their future home. |
